Join Us
The British Ahwazi Friendship Society is keen to recruit volunteers into all aspects of our work, particularly people experienced in broadcasting, journalism, lobbying, research and fund-raising.
We are currently working towards UK registered charity status, in order to access funding for our activities, and are keen to hear from anyone with experience as a charity trustee or administrator.
We have already gained access to the UN officials and British cabinet ministers. Help us continue to promote democracy, freedom, social justice and self-determination for the women and men of Al-Ahwaz. Below are rough estimates of the costs of running our campaigns.
We urgently require funds to step up our campaign to highlight the plight of one of the world's most vulnerable and forgotten indigenous people.
If every supporter of the Ahwazi cause gave just one per cent of their annual income, the BAFS would have enough funds to put the Ahwazi people at the top of the international agenda.
